What is the operating principle of Leaf Spring mounts?
In the event of a shock, Leaf Spring Isolators are designed to limit the force and/or displacement to keep it within acceptable values for the system or equipment they protect. After the shock, the isolator must allow the suspended mass to return to its initial position. In the absence of a shock, elastomer-type elastic mounts provide vibration and acoustic isolation, as they ensure the suspended mass remains in place.
