Découplage de payload sur Ariane 6
Socitec participated in the packaging of the cryogenic main stage of Ariane 5, the Étage Principal Cryotechnique (EPC). The EPC has a diameter of 5.4 meters, a height of 30.5 meters, and weighs approximately 170 tons when fully fueled (propellant) and 12.5 tons when empty.
The objective was to develop a comprehensive model incorporating the elasticity of the structure, the container, and the suspension, while accounting for dynamic forces such as obstacle crossings (edges) and road profiles.
We are closely involved in the Ariane 6 project, working on similar initiatives to design shock and vibration decoupling solutions for the modules.
