Solutions avancées d’amortissement des chocs et vibrations
Socitec offers the BR Series Spring Box range of shock absorbers, vibration isolation devices designed to protect equipment, structures and bases. The BR Spring Box series is available in four models: BRR, BRB, BRP and BRS. Customizations (materials, dimensions and interfaces) are available upon request.
Equipment, structures and bases can be suspended using Spring Boxes in two methods:
Active Isolation (isolates vibrations generated by suspended equipment): This method is commonly used in factories and the metalworking industry. Contemporary suspensions for turbines, pumps, fans and electrical generators are based on the same principle as the Spring Boxes used to isolate drills and presses.
Passive isolation (isolates vibrations transmitted to suspended equipment): This method protects sensitive equipment and foundations from disturbances from the surrounding area, such as those generated by industrial machinery or traffic. It can also be used to counteract the impacts of earthquakes and aerodynamic forces due to wind.
BRP, BRB, BRS SERIES
- All-metal low-frequency anti-vibration mounts for vertical loads
- Easy to install
- No aging
- Corrosion resistant
- Temperature range: -50°C to +200°C
- Customization available on request (materials, dimensions, interfaces, etc.).
BRR SERIES
- Deformation under nominal load up to 25 mm
- Limited movement during start and stop
- Minimum depreciation
- Sound wave isolation
- Ideal for strong horizontal thrusts
- Non-slip rubber plate
- 50% overload capacity
